Shelley Lewis is now a Certified Life Care Planner (CLCP)

Adding to her rehabilitation counselor qualifications, Shelley has completed the required training to become a CLCP, a credential offered by the Commission on Healthcare Certification. Shelley completed training and became certified in March 2007.

Owings and Associates, Inc. has developed life care plans since the 1980s. Shelley has prepared life care plans as part of the professional services she has provided since beginning employment with Owings and Associates in 1999. Because of her education and experience preparing care plans, Shelley was qualified to enter and complete the certification training.

Developing life care plans for individuals who have sustained brain injuries is an area of specialization for Owings and Associates. Life care plans for individuals with other types of disabling conditions are accepted for preparation on a case by case basis.
